Do you ever stop and realize that the average person doesn’t know what a ship is or what canon means.
We probably just all sound like pirates.
My Mum always calls ACD “Arthur CANON Doyle”. Everytime she does that, I go, “Mum, Arthur CONAN Doyle! Canon is something completely different!”
But she doesn’t get it. :-(
